Morgan Stanley (MS) has launched a $2.3 billion debt offering to help finance the acquisition of Baldwin Insurance Group by Michael Dell's family office and Sequence Holdings, Bloomberg reported Tuesday, citing a person familiar with the matter.
The financing includes a $2 billion term loan and a $300 million delayed-draw term loan, both with seven-year maturities. Pricing is being discussed at 3.5 percentage points over the benchmark rate and 99 cents on the dollar, the report said.
The acquisition financing also includes $750 million of privately placed second-lien secured debt. The $7.7 billion all-cash deal is expected to close in Q1 2027, Bloomberg reported.
Morgan Stanley did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
