CSPC Pharmaceutical Group's (HKG:1093) obtained positive topline results in a phase III trial of the triple combination therapy of prusogliptin, dapagliflozin, and metformin in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus.
The results showed significant superiority in reduction in HbA1c from baseline in patients given the drug combination versus those receiving dapagliflozin or prusogliptin in combination with metformin.
The triple combination therapy regimen also demonstrated a favorable safety profile.
