NTT Data Group (TYO:9613) plans to expand its data center investments in Indonesia and plans to acquire additional land as part of its two- to three-year expansion plan, Reuters reported Tuesday, citing the company's Japan and Asia Pacific data center chief, Yasuhiro Kajiki.

The company opened a 12-megawatt data center ​annex in Jakarta and has invested $500 million in the Indonesian data center market since 2015, which is expected to reach $6.08 billion by 2031.
