Brookfield (BN) has selected KB Kookmin Bank to be the lead arranger for a syndicated loan of about 10.7 trillion South Korean won ($7.97 billion) that will help fund the acquisition of AI chips for use by Naver, Bloomberg News reported Monday, citing the bank.

The loan will help finance a 12.6-trillion-won project, the news outlet reported, adding that the AI chips will be leased to Naver Cloud.

Brookfield and KB Kookmin didn't immediately respond to MT Newswires' requests for comment.
