Lianson Fleet's (KLSE:LFG) subsidiary, Icon Samudera (L), has acquired an offshore heavy lift vessel, according to a Friday Bursa Malaysia filing.
The offshore support vessel operator said the vessel, which will be renamed LFG Hercules, has a lifting capacity of up to 4,000 metric tons and deadweight tonnage of 30,087 tons.
The acquisition is the company's first heavy-lift vessel purchase, with the vessel positioning the company to pursue offshore wind turbine installation works.
