CK Asset (HKG:1113) halted sales at its Yuen Long Montage project days before marketing was due to start, without explanation, while asserting its right to pause or launch sales at any time, the South China Morning Post reported Friday.
The developer denied market rumors that the government had revoked presale consent, calling such speculation unfounded, the news agency said.
The halt came after plans to release sales arrangements for at least 66 houses, the publication reported, citing a source who said the company needs about a month to amend land lease documents in consultation with the government.
CK Asset did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
