HD Korea Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering (KRX:009540) secured an order for four very large ammonia carriers (VLACs) from an Africa-based shipper, according to a Friday filing with the Korean Exchange.
The deal is valued at 630.1 billion won. The shipbuilder will deliver the vessels by May 31, 2030.
Shares of HD Korea Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering fell nearly 1% in recent trade.
