Palo Alto Networks (PANW) is in talks to acquire Israeli cybersecurity startup Clutch Security for about $500 million, The Information reported Wednesday, citing people familiar with the matter.
The deal would be Palo Alto's fifth acquisition this year as Chief Executive Nikesh Arora expands its AI security offerings. Clutch develops software to track passwords and authentication codes used by AI agents, according to the report.
The deal discussions are ongoing and may not result in an agreement, the report added.
Palo Alto did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
