Meta Platforms (META) put planned updates to its Commercial Terms, Product Catalog Terms, Self-Serve Ad Terms and Ad Creative Generative AI Terms on hold, Reuters reported Friday, citing the company.
The changes were scheduled to take effect Nov. 20. Meta's existing terms remain in effect, a company spokesperson told Reuters.
Separately, the European Commission is investigating the recommendation systems used by Meta's Facebook and Instagram platforms over concerns about so-called "rabbit hole" effects, Reuters reported Friday.
Meta did not immediately respond to requests for comment from MTNewswires.
