    I receive the rights letter too with entitlement of 50 (5:100). does it means I can buy 1000 shares at 2.62 (mentioned in letter) ? I'm using CPf too. worth?

      for the above comment, I am referring to odd lots in Tiger. my shares are in CPF and CDP, so I will take all entitlement plus excess

      assume 100 shares cost $264 from Rights, but now buy from market $277, $13 difference. Means even less diff for odd lots. I probably let it lapse.

    what does it means ya ?  usually other shares that have right issue will the share price up or drop on the distribution date ? I mean based on general knowledge

    nowadays sgx shares trade in 100 shares per lot. anything less than 100 is considered odd. in older days, 1 lot is 1000 shares.
