$Virgin Galactic(SPCE)$When trading hype stocks its best to lock in profits and not buy on the days of the news release. Because the market is easily manipulated and people tend to buy the rumours and sell the news. Businessesalso tend to sell shares on the day which everyone expects the stock to rocket, but in fact does not, because this is a great way for the company to raise capital. Yes, by selling shares at the overvalued price and hurting retail investors but benefiting the company in the long run.

    This is a typical example of buy on expectation and sell on confirmation. It’s behavior is similar to the spaceship goes up to the space and has to come down.
