Some point about AMD I have to say….

So here we go guys (Tom, take some deep breaths and remember I am absolutely 100% on yours/AMD’s side here...), there’s something I’ve not seen anyone mention on here and it scares me when this happens. We all know about the recent Intel announced server delay... but that news was out ages ago and yet just broke, what, a few weeks ago?

The reason I bring this up is I’ve heard whispers that a similar situation may or may not take place with AMD. Could literally be another quarter or more until we find out for sure, but it’s obviously “easy” to spin bad news that I am slightly concerned will be utilized by the street to manipulate people into selling/excuse for shorting it down irrationally low. We’ve all seen this nonsense too many times in the past to ignore the possibility entirely (remember when that single-digit Israeli firm shorted the heck out of AMD right before letting them know they had a mere 24 hours to address the supposed “chip flaw” they had discovered before they published the news?? Baaahahaha what a frustrating time that was!!!), so I mention it for insight, should any of you wish to contribute.

Additionally, i think it’s quite possible Intel is about to announce a big government deal/subsidy and additional plants beyond the currently confirmed.

I’m not saying these things to argue the fallacy of investing in AMD; rather, I am pointing out the possibility of the inflection point (Tom, take note- your chronic use of ‘infliction point’ does nothing but inflict your readers) might not be here just quite yet. Then again... it might be. That’s the problem with AMD (and the markets in general these days), you never can truly know when she’ll realllllllly run... that jump from 60-90 in, what, 5 trading days??? Still haunts me a little... but not nearly as much as the jump to 99.98 that they pulled right after close on Q4 earnings report... gaaaaah, you all must surely get the point, AMD is a sure fire winner and yet it is only by what Lisa say and Co. have accomplished in the face of huge adversity, not because it has ever been a darling of Wall Street. Maybe that’s about to change, but the last 10 months illustrates the time has not come quite yet, and the short interest rising yet again into 6/30 vigorously argues against the tumultuous year being a longer than we’d like.
