$Meta Materials Inc.(MMAT)$There are some things that I wish to say which may or may not be nice.

1. Reverse Stock Split - This is the main reason why people holding TRCH stocks gets halved while cost price is doubled. The value of your stock is the same. If you held on to an odd number stock (which I did) it would be rounded down to the nearest whole number. As for the .5 stock it would be converted to cash and deposited back into your account (was told by other users, yet to verify with CS).

Example:

Before split: 10 Shares * $5 = $50 (Total Shares Value)

After split: 5 Shares * $10 = $50 (Total Shares Value)

2. Just like everyone else being affected by the reverse stock split. My cost price shot up but because I am planning to hold this for long term. I did not mind spending more to reduce my cost and to hold more stocks. But if that isn't your plan it is fine too. Do what makes you feel comfortable.

3. This stock isn't a scam. Even if it is a scam, the money invested in it belongs to you. If you aren't comfortable with it then please reconsider about buying or adding more. Nobody forced it upon you to buy it.

4. Just like every other things you buy in life be it shares or anything. Do your work and read on it before considering. I'm sure you would consider the cost of getting a house / amenities / transport before buying.
