If u think EV is an industry that will overtake the automotive industry, NIO would be in a very goodposition to take on. Financial support from the Chinese govt means a lot. Regulatory wise can be expected to be very supportive as well

    Problem NIO faces is not with technology advancements and adoption, but with cyber security regulations imposed on US listed companies.

      Unfortunately… being listed in US requires NIO to be subjected to US financial regulatory requirements that will require the release of data that may be considered to be private under Chinese law.

      I see. I was thinking that the major market share of NIO would be domestic consumption within China, clearing Chinese regulatories would be sufficient to stablise the business model.
