$FRASERS CENTREPOINT TRUST(J69U.SI)$ holds a portfolio of 10 well performing retail properties in Singapore. Many of which are familiar names such as Northpoint City and Causeway Point.
Why is FCT one of my favourite REITS?
1) The malls are well connected to our public transport and that helps to boost footfall.
2) The malls are strategically located in places with lower competing supply of retail space, hence providing more room for growth for the incumbents.
3) FCT focuses largely on essential services and that helps to upkeep resilience and stability of the REIT.
This is to just name a few of the great reasons for my investment in FCT.
Looking back at its 1H2023 performance, it has not disappointed Investors as well. Gross revenue was up 6.5% YoY and this is largely supported by higher atrium income and rent. Committed occupancy has reached 99.2% on good leasing demands and reversions in rental as well.
