1) First purchase: GOOG is my first US stock investment which I subsequently added more, and I’m still holding the stock.

2) Most profitable stock: NVDA becomes my multi-bagger in the shortest time. My only regret is not buying more of the stock.

3) Most loss-making stock: TGT has never seen daylight since I bought, though I’ll keep it and hope it will regain its past glory over time after the economy recovers.

4) Worth repurchasing: I’m a long-term investor in AAPL and will continue to add more on price weakness as I believe in the strong fundamentals of Apple with its unparalleled brand value and sticky user base.

5) Most regretable miss: I missed the boat when TSLA plunged to low $100 early this year, as I was concerned over its rich valuation. The stock has been fast and furious on recovery from its bottom.

6) Longest held stock: I believe that GOOG will remain relevant and grow from strength to strength. My holding period is forever for fundamentally strong companies.

7) Shortest held stock: Cut short on ZM after it plunged soon after my purchase, and I have never looked back, as the stock sank further and has yet to recover. With border re-opened and rising competition, I'm less optimistic of the long-term profitability of videoconferencing services.

8) Most regrettable purchase: It should be BNTX whose stock price shot through the roof soon after I bought, but unfortunately I did not sell and am now holding on to losses, as the initial huge revenues from its COVID-19 vaccines appear to be unsustainable. Hopefully, Biontech will successfully develop and launch new blockbuster drugs to diverify and derive new income streams over time.

"Adjustment" is imminent ! Too far, too fast ! The FED is not your friend ! Don't fight the FED ! If the Bank of Japan raises rates Friday, which is likely, US T bill rates will rise, market will fall !

Indeed, interest rate hikes remain the number one concern to the markets.

Interest rates can rise to 30% but the market will rise 100% anyway.

Do you think the market will pullback soon?

    • pekss
I think so, especially with a looming recession
