A few weeks ago average daily volume for AMSC was around 160k—for months and months. Sometimes daily volume was under 100k causing me to wonder if AMSC was a forgotten publicly traded company. And here we are—suddenly shares are trading above 2mm per day with one day approaching almost 5mm on total outstanding shares of 30mm. Obviously there is day trading activity.
