Those shorts were already flushed out a couple times now in the tremendous volume and are returning afresh shorting again and again using that same logic that has gotten them in a bind when they shorted the stock last week and the week before and the week before. They keep saying to themselves “this can’t be happening,” “it is not real,” “it will go back to $10.” It makes sense that they would do so because that has been the AMSC historical narrative—the stock shorts have loved for a decade … until they didn’t.
