Getting a lot of people asking about $PayPal(PYPL)$ . I still love this stock and am super bullish on it for the January 2025 LEAPS with a $140 strike.
Here's the summary of the key talking points for their PayPal video (The first half of the business), combined with a few of my own.
1. Down 77% from it's highs 2+ years ago.
2. Buying $5 Billion back in stock back this year.
3. Institutional Ownership is 78% <-- This shows that smart money is who's left right now.
4. Short Interest is only 1%
5. EPS (Earnings Per Share) has 20%+ growth YoY.
6. TAM (Total Address Market) is growing 5x by 2030, for payments portion of the business.
7. The only payment company in China that completely owns their business and doesn't have to share with a state affiliated business.
8. E-Commerce sales are growing by 28%+ YoY
9. Brain Tree, a portion of their business, is growing at a CAGR (Compound Annual Growth Rate). This product is also integrated with a ton of business like UBER.
10. 32 million people have signed up for Buy Now Pay Later, which is a quickly growing portion of their business. They also better rates than Affirm. I'm sorry, but this just makes me even more bullish.
I have $180,000 in calls and feel under allocated right now. :p In fact, if we hit my mid target in the next few months, even if you get the current strike price of $2.80, which is $1.76 more a contract than I paid, you still stand a chance of 10x returns of the underlying asset, if it hits $150 by November. Those are crazy good odds IMHO.
