A 11% price reduction is observed in $SINGTEL(Z74.SI)$
Q1'24 results was not fantastic as the weakening of Aussie dollar (9% drop) and poorer Optus performance (1.8% drop in EBITDA margins) have contributed to a drag in SingTel earnings.
On the flip side, good performance was observed in other parts of SingTel eg. Bharti. It has achieved a 33% increase in NPAT and this is largely contributed by increase in India's mobile ARPU - average revenue per user.
All in all, the outlook for SingTel group as a whole will be pretty flat in the coming months, unless a big transformation comes about from its $6billion dollars asset monetisation efforts or an effective cost management is implemented at Optus. Meanwhile, I will stay invested and probably will accumulate abit more holdings in SingTel as the price to valuation seems relatively cheap now.
Please invest with caution!

The company has a diversified portfolio of businesses, which provides some insulation from economic downturns.
I think SingTel is investing heavily in growth areas, such as digital services and infrastructure.
