My $OUE COMMERCIAL REIT(TS0U.SI)$ drops from 0.415 to 0.24 and I am done with stock picking And 🥹🥹🥹💋🥲stick to etf

Investing in stocks can be a rollercoaster of emotions and financial ups and downs. I learned a painful lesson through my experience with OUE Trust, a stock I purchased at $0.32 per share. At the time, I believed it had potential for significant growth and dividends. However, the reality has been quite different.

As the stock's value plummeted to $0.24 per share, I not only saw my initial investment shrink, but even with the dividends, I couldn't recoup my losses. This experience was a stark reminder of the volatility and unpredictability of individual stock picks.

The pain of watching my investment erode made me reevaluate my approach to investing. I realized the benefits of diversification and risk reduction offered by Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs). ETFs provide exposure to a broader market or sector, spreading risk and mitigating the impact of a single stock's poor performance.

Now, I prefer the stability and security that ETFs offer. They provide a more balanced and diversified investment portfolio, reducing the risk associated with individual stock picks. While stock picking can be enticing, my painful lesson has taught me the value of a more cautious and diversified approach to investing in the stock market.
