The benefits
1. VIP App Theme
Out of all the benefits, curious about the VIP skin the most. [Wow] [Wow]
Golden skin unlocked
New theme "Golden" glad that it is based on the "Dark" theme since that was what i prefer.[Bless] [Bless]
However, the VIP skin is not a permanent unlock... Have to maintain above level 8 to continue using it [Spurting] [Spurting]
2. Profile Frame
At least this unlock is permanent, the memorabilia for having made it to a level before.[Wow] [Wow]
3. Vouchers
A choice between Stock Vouchers and Commission-free Vouchers.
Stock Vouchers is the better choice imo, special case if a trader trades huge sizes and the commission on a trade is bigger than the Stock Voucher amount.[Allin] [Allin]

2 obvious differences:
1. In yellow box, the lines of the chart is in white instead of cyan.
2. In orange box, the buttons are in golden instead of yellow.
The Dark theme for comparison:

The Journey
With 0 invitation and 54 asset points (yes i am broke af[Facepalm] [Facepalm] ), making it to level 8 was not easy...
Mainly getting points from Futures trading and Options trading.
Made some good options trades (as described in a previous post), and inflated the account... Decided to try for level 8 since i was relatively close to leveling up.
Forcing trades, taking low probability trades without good risk management, means losing money fast... [Heartbreak] [Heartbreak]
Summary
In total, lost approximately US$3000 to make it from level 7 to level 8.
Was it worth it? Surely not... But for content to write for this post? Priceless... [Blush] [Blush]
Do not recommend anyone else to chase levels, growing trading capital should be the priority, Tiger Membership level comes naturally. [ShakeHands] [ShakeHands]
