Why I sold NIO?

Thank god I sold $NIO Inc.(NIO)$

I was living a life in denial saying “next week will be better” for the past 3 years (moving onto 4).

Looking at $NIO now from a point of view of someone who doesn’t own the company and looking at the facts without emotions. I can say the stock will suffer for a while.

Why?

Lack of consistency = no investor confidence.

Another reason why the stock will suffer is because they lack sales which results in heavy cash burn which will all result in another stock dilution. This will all create more pressure on the stock.

Your response: “yea the cash burn will be less cause they’re laying off many workers”

My answer: They are still paying good severance which results in cash burn + they are running low on cash so they must raise funds some how.

I have now learned NIO doesn’t give a flying fuck about it’s investors.

Now the question is will NIO be successful? I’m sure they’ll make it but still doesn’t mean investors don’t suffer for an eternity. You invested in NIO to make some cash not live a life of denial cause your bags are heavy.

IMO NIO needs to start with a massive clean up with managment the way $XPEV did. It’s the only way for them to get shit right.

As for me right now I invested my money in a different company and I am very close to breaking even. It was the most genius decision I have made. I now understand why institutions are not touching NIO.
