The vast pool of skilled and English-speaking talent makes India the third largest startup destination in the world. It has witnessed significant growth, especially in the wake of the pandemic. As of May 31, 2023, India was home to over 99,000 startups. This has helped attract companies like $Apple(AAPL)$ and $Advanced Micro Devices(AMD)$ to India to set up tech hubs.
It is understood that $Advanced Micro Devices(AMD)$ has opened its largest global design center in Bangalore. The state-of-the-art campus plans to employ approximately 3,000 engineers over the next few years and focus on the design and development of semiconductor technologies, including 3D stacking, artificial intelligence, machine learning and more.
$Advanced Micro Devices(AMD)$ Technostar campus is part of the company's $400 million investment in India over the next five years.

Today, 25% of AMD's global employees are based in India, supporting the development of AMD's leading products in areas such as data centers, gaming, PCs and more. and embedded clients.
