Hello everyone! Today I want to share some technical analysis with you!

1.

Two Types of Corrections: $S&P 500(.SPX)$

(1) an overbought market would correct itself either with a sharp zigzag, or with a sideway horizontal move.

(2) the current market has the look & feel of the latter--using time to substitute for price.

(3) if so, it will consolidate in this zone longer.

2.

Doing Nothing:

(1) the market went nowhere over the last two weeks;

(2) the best trading strategy--as I laid out early--is "do nothing".

(3) if you want to survive in this market, you have to know in addition to "going long" and "going short"; there is a 3rd option: going away.

3.

Hibernation Time: $S&P 500(.SPX)$

(1) most bears take a long winter nap from November, and sleep through the winter.

(2) they will come out around March--but they may wake up in the middle of hibernation.

(3) anyhow, it is safe till mid-January, 2024 on my calendar, if you know what I mean.
