Mañana Jassy finally puts his stamp on the company. His so called coming out party starts with Amazon’s mouthwatering ER and guidance. Expect Amazon’s expenses to be way down as they are not replacing the high attrition rates Amazon encounters in their warehouses and fulfillment centers.AI and robotics are filling the void. Look for big news in the healthcare front too, Watch for a more aggressive Jassy when discussing AI and how they have been incorporating AI into their businesses not starting this year but for the last decade. AD revenue has been on fire and expect a big number there. Unlike Apple, Amazon does break out their AD revenue and the market will hone in on that number. Machine Learning has really aided that business for them. E-commerce is back and in a big way. Gear up for a big turnaround there. Their record setting Prime Day came too late for this ER but they will give details on just how big it was. Cloud bottomed out this past quarter so the key here isn’t what’s being reported but what’s in store going forward and get ready for a jaw dropping number. The only red herring I can envision is their grocery business which hadn’t been a major contributor. Expect some announced changes as per Whole Foods. There you have it amigos, served up on a platter for you to dissect, You can thank me latter. Vamos!
