$C3.ai, Inc.(AI)$ Based on what I'm seeing, when the mid-Jan number comes out, it will show another multi-million increase to over 40m shares sold short.

All indications are that artificial intelligence is taking off. Chip manufacturers like NVDA are reporting that it's taking off.Consulting companies like ACN are reporting that it's taking off. Companies where job listings are posted are reporting that it's taking off. The big cloud players like AWS and GCP are reporting that it's taking off. It's tough for C3's stock to move higher when shorts are selling millions and millions and millions of shares every couple of weeks. But at some point as artificial intelligence takes off, institutional investors are going to start buying really large chunks of this stock, and then the shorts are going to have to start covering their positions. When that happens, look for C3 to take off the way NVDA has in the last week - up $65.

Semi Rally: AI Hype to Next Level?
Nvidia stock jumped over 6% on January 8 after a series of announcements at Consumer Electronics Show (CES), which included new chips for generative AI technologies, PCs and gaming, and new partnerships. AMD stock was also up over 5%; the whole semiconductors sector closed green (SOXX +3.26%) ------------------------ [DISCUSSION] With Nvidia's share reaching a fresh all-time high, will it bring the AI hype to a new level? Is AI still the investing theme of 2024?
