No I will not be investing in Bitcoin Spot ETFs for several reasons:

1) If I were to want exposure to Bitcoin, I would simply purchase the cryptocoin myself instead of an ETF with an expense ratio that reduces my profit.

2) The idea of investing in a currency for growing wealth, albeit fiat or crypto, does not make sense to me. It would be akin to me wanting exposure to the US Dollar or the Japanese Yen. Currencies are not income generating and their value is equivalent to the demand for the currency. Since their value is not tied to something concrete such as a product or service, I think that the value of bitcoin is purely speculative and has no place in my portfolio.

This is just my opinion and is not investment advice. You should perform your own research before purchasing any security to tailor to your investment goals.
