Will these stock thrive next week?

$PDD Holdings Inc(PDD)$   has scheduled to post its previous quarter earnings results on 20 March. I like Pinduoduo for its focus on agriculture and fresh products, which has helped to differentiate the Chinese online retailer among rising competition from other e-commerce platforms. Furthermore, its wide distribution network has enabled Pinduoduo to establish its reach to the most rural parts of China, unlike other competitors that emphasize their presence in big cities. The company has also been able to maneuver well during the crackdown by regulators on the technology sector, so it does not have a bull eye pasted on its back and suffered less damage compared to its peers. I'm hopeful that its coming earnings results will bring cheers to its investors and help Pinduoduo stock to regain its past glory.

The US government is expected to announce the grant to $Intel(INTC)$   next week under the CHIPS Act that is intended to revive the dominance of US in the global semiconductor manufacturing capacity, as countries around the world are increasingly prizing semiconductor among their priorities on national securities after acute semiconductor shortages at the onset of the COVID pandemic that had threatened to shut down domestic industries like automotive manufacturing which is heavily reliant on semiconductor components as vehicles become increasingly sophisticated and equipped with various electronics gadgets for safety, convenience and entertainment. I believe that Intel will receive a multi-billion grant for its Ohio and Arizona projects, and help Intel to regain its competitive edge against TSMC and Samsung.

Likewise, $Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing(TSM)$  which is the leading semiconductor foundry with over 60% share of the global semiconductor foundry market is also expected to win more than $5 billion in federal grants for its construction of an advanced semiconductor fab in Arizona. TSMC has been producing chips for Apple's iPhones and its advanced semiconductor processes are also used in the manufacturing of Nvidia's highly sought-after artificial intelligence chips, which I believe will be the engine that propels the Asia's most valuable listed company to even greater heights. Also, although $Advanced Micro Devices(AMD)$  has been playing second fiddle to Nvidia in the AI arena, the explosive demands for semiconductor chips to power AI engines are so great and continuing to expand rapidly that I believe that the pie is large enough to accommodate AMD, as corporations race to deploy artificial intelligence in their operations and businesses amidst prevailing AI rush.

After an overhang from a string of lawsuits and massive stock dilution to revive the company last year, $AMC Entertainment(AMC)$  has continued to be plagued by declining footfall to its theatre chain, as it struggles to lure back the crowds to its cinema halls amidst rising competition from online streaming providers especially Netflix, Disney and Amazon, that have thrived during the onset of the pandemic that has forced millions to refrain from outdoor entertainment. The habit of indoor entertainment has since grown roots and AMC has been struggling to attract viewers back. Despite lifting of COVID restrictions and releases of blockbuster titles, AMC has yet to witness its heyday again. I would avoid investing in the sunset industry until there are signs of turnaround in AMC's business.
