Comeback of the EV players?

Light appears to be at the end of the tunnel for the year-long price war in the EV market that has seen casualties struggling to stay afloat with narrowing margins amidst slowing demands for EVs. $Tesla Motors(TSLA)$  ,  the EV industry leader that had ignited the EV price war, is reportedly finally calling for a ceasefire and planning to raise prices across all its major markets in order to avoid further erosion of its own margins, as Elon Musk had previously warned that Tesla was reaching "the natural limit of cost down".

Hopefully, this will end the brutal price war that has seen the EV makers undercutting one another in price to gain or defend their market shares amidst softening EV demands, reverse the downward spiral in profit margins among the EV makers and help to recover profitability for Tesla and the Chinese EV startup trio $NIO-SW(09866)$ $XPENG-W(09868)$ and $LI AUTO-W(02015)$  as well as their latest peer $XIAOMI-W(01810)$ .

I'm hopeful that this will be the start of a reversal of fortune for the EV makers and help them to weather the macro headwinds and collectively make the EV pie larger by developing more efficient EVs, safer autonomous driving systems and expanding the EV charging infrastructure. Will 2024 be a year that marks the comeback of the EV makers?
