$Intel(INTC)$ Let’s be honest. The main reason Intel was thrashing $Advanced Micro Devices(AMD)$ was they had superior parts. There were a plethora of PC vendors besides Dell that they could have sold to. When AMD released Athlon it was a great product and ate up Intel market share, when they didn't follow up with a good CPU they lost the marketshare. Bulldozer was a disaster.
