$奈飞(NFLX)$ Netflix continues to deliver new content that their subscribers want, so subscriptions are very sticky.
NFLX makes metric shittons of cheap, lousy content but they know the kind of twaddle their audiences go for: true crime, supernatural horror, that kind of stuff. You'd see it on basic cable in the olden days, or maybe it's below basic cable standards.
I don't think that is the case with Disney $迪士尼(DIS)$ , which is much more dependent on "the library" than on new content... and they may make subscriptions a lot less sticky.
At some point, Disney needs to clean up password sharing, but I think they'd be smarter waiting until after a big initiative of new, compelling content.
Just my opinion, but this password sharing crack-down might prove to be a useful "test" of Disney's content "sticky-ness".
