I only trade options because underlying stocks can be very expensive. I had good days with NVDA stock, so I might be biased. Depends on the risk you are willing to take, can sell/buy put/call. I usually do selling options, and it needs to fulfil the margin requirement and excess liquidity.
Over 3 earning cycle of NVDA I managed to make 50k+ if I'm not wrong.
But not all sunshine, though. Because I usually sell options, I can be subject to assignment and can be stuck with stocks at ridiculous prices, but I can still sell covered options, so it's not too bad. Recently, I got assigned with AMD at 180, so that's that.
In conclusion, everything should be done with moderation and within your comfortable risk profile.
