Just finished watching Joe Tsai interview in a JP Morgan event and is extremely impressed with the clarity of the strategy moving forward.

For those who havent watch the video, please do it.

In the interview, Joe explained the Alibaba roadmap for the AI. In particular, he pointed out that Alibaba is one the very few rare company other than$Alphabet(GOOG)$ that have both strong proprietary AI technology and cloud computing. They have a leading position in cloud and a competitive proprietary AI along with investment into a host of other potential AI startups.

Joe also talk about the importance of focusing on the core business and the divestment on business that doesn't have synergy with Alibaba long term vision.

All in all. Well done. Very clear thought process and it is only a matter of time that the market values Alibaba correctly.
