$AMC Entertainment(AMC)$ It makes me sad seeing theaters struggle so much.

Before I had kids, (Both still too small for a thester movie) seeing a movie at the theater while munching on a bucket of popcorn was a fun way to spend an evening or afternoon. My wife and I have many fond memories talking about the movie afterward, discussing particular themes, cinematography, writing, etc.

I still love the theater experience. I saw Furiosa twice and loved it. I saw it once this weekend (Imax) and once last weekend. I highly recommend it.

A good movie at a theater can draw you into the scenes and feel tension you'll never experience at home unless you have a massive home theater.

Streaming and short form video are both killing theaters. Sadly, I don't think there's any hope for them past boutique experiences and perhaps communal events.
