PolarX (ASX:PXX) secures 80% JV stake in Caribou Dome Project

PolarX exercised its option to secure an initial 80% joint venture interest in the high-grade Caribou Dome Project in Alaska.

The move follows the completion of earn-in requirements and payment of the option exercise price of US$1.3 million ($2 million).

PolarX has also acquired a 90% joint venture interest in the adjoining Senator project. Both projects are integral to the company's Alaska Range Copper-Gold Project, which also includes the Stellar Copper-Gold Project.

The company aims to increase its share to 100% by sole-funding exploration and development activities.

PolarX's immediate plans involve re-commencing drilling at Caribou Dome later this month, aiming to expand the resource base and address high-priority undrilled targets identified through geochemical soil sampling and induced polarisation surveys.
