Perpetual Resources commenced its maiden drill program at the Raptor Rare Earth Element Project, located in the prolific Caldeira REE complex in Minas Gerais, Brazil.
The 380-hectare project was acquired recently and entails exploring high-potential tenements 815.816/1971 and 830.310/1979.
The initial phase of the drilling program utilises a motorised auger rig designed to reach depths of up to 20m.
The program duration is expected to be two to three weeks, with initial results from surface sampling due in July and deeper auger drilling results expected in August.
