$Tesla(TSLA)$ stock rose 2.9% to $182.47 on Thursday. Tesla shareholders approved CEO Elon Musk's $56 billion pay package, the electric vehicle-maker said on Thursday, a big thumbs-up to his leadership and an enticement for keeping his focus on his biggest source of wealth.

Separately, Tesla said it likely will raise the price of its Model 3 in Europe following new tariffs on electric vehicles made in China planned by the EU.

A total number of 2765.97K options related to $TSLA(TSLA)$ shares was traded, of which call options accounted for 65%. Tesla's OTM calls showed huge trading volume. The $190 strike call option expiring this Friday, with a total number of 173,516 option contracts trading as of Thursday.

$Nvidia(NVDA)$ shares rose 3.52% to $129.61 on Thursday. Fellow chip company $Broadcom(AVGO)$ underlined demand for artificial-intelligence processors in its earnings but also its intention to fight for market share in AI networking technology.

A total number of 5,625,282 options related to $NVDA(NVDA)$ shares was traded, 3.3 times higher than the 90-day average trading volume. A particularly high trading volume was seen for the $130 strike call option expiring this Friday, with a total number of 311,758 option contracts trading as of Thursday.
