I think we all know knowledge is key and is much needed. But, we cannot deny luck in it especially in recent years. Who would have predicted covid? Who would have anticipated that the Fed would print so much money that the market quickly rebounded? And who would have known that inflation would be so sticky? In recent years, there is volatility not just with earnings season but also whenever the inflation data and employment data is due and also when Powell opens his mouth.
Is it better to know more or less in stock investing?
