$TOP GLOVE CORPORATION BHD(BVA.SI)$I’m trying to think of a rationale to why funds keep adding short position when the dividend date is near. One of the possibility is thattheir short sell position is highly profitable and thus is able to pay the dividend for the shares they borrow to short and is banking on investors to mass sell causing a dip in price which they will review to close or continueto short. They will likely avoid Top Glove date for HK listing though.
