I commented yesterday when I saw the news appear. I will try but this is going to be a rant (...sorry).

A presidential candidate,also a convicted felon, just opening his mouth and blabbering whatever comes to his mind without thinking it through is just a clear demonstration of narcissistic stupidity. Its sad that besides the two candidates there is no younger blood available? This is really the "best" available?...it does not bode well for the US.

Bullying other companies to restrict trade with china (ASML) and then Top it up with such comments. I believe china companies would be more than happy to fill up orders with TSMC and then US companies will do what? Sure they can move some to intel and taking a hit in terms of being the most advanced chips on the market until intel finally catches up with TSMC.
