Hey Tigers!

I am Tiger Observer, sharing market information with you! ๐Ÿ”Ž๐Ÿ”Ž๐Ÿ”Ž

I will post the 10 most searched stocks on the Tiger Trade app. Don't miss my updates!!!

Weekly movers:

  • Last week, the stock market experienced significant fluctuations. In the technology sector, $Tesla Motors(TSLA)$ was the focus of attention. Despite a decline of 8.11%, the stock closed at $219.80. This volatility may be related to the market's expectations for Tesla's upcoming earnings report. It is noteworthy that $CrowdStrike Holdings, Inc.(CRWD)$ experienced a sharp 16% plunge in its stock price, which is associated with the market's re-evaluation of its growth prospects. $Alphabet(GOOG)$ , the parent company of Google, also fell by 5.97%, reflecting a general weakness in the cryptocurrency market and large-cap technology stocks.

    Tigerโ€™s view @spider

$Tesla Motors(TSLA)$  I will only consider buying Tesla if the stock price falls below $130, though I find this scenario unlikely in the near future. While I acknowledge that Tesla is a remarkable company with innovative products and a strong market presence, my hesitation to invest stems from a couple of key factors.

Firstly, Tesla does not offer dividends, which is a significant consideration for me as an investor who values a steady income stream from my investments. Dividends provide a tangible return on investment and can be particularly appealing in volatile markets.

Secondly, I believe that Tesla's stock is currently overvalued. Despite its impressive growth and potential, the stock price appears to reflect an overly optimistic future performance that may not be sustainable. This perceived overvaluation makes me cautious as investing at such high levels could expose me to substantial downside risk if the market corrects.

Additionally, while I am intrigued by the prospects of Tesla's robotaxi, this alone is not enough to persuade me to invest. The concept of robotaxi is exciting and could revolutionise transportation but it is still in its nascent stages and carries significant uncertainty.

In summary, despite my admiration for Tesla's achievements and potential, my investment criteria include a reasonable stock price, dividend income and a balanced risk-reward profile. Until these conditions are met, I will remain on the sidelines and observe Tesla's developments with interest.

$GameStop(GME)$ $AMC Entertainment(AMC)$ $Faraday Future Intelligent Electric Inc.(FFIE)$ $Tesla Motors(TSLA)$ $NVIDIA Corp(NVDA)$ $SUPER MICRO COMPUTER INC(SMCI)$ $Apple(AAPL)$ $Alibaba(BABA)$ $Advanced Micro Devices(AMD)$ $Palantir Technologies Inc.(PLTR)$
