$Intel(INTC)$ TSMC $Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing(TSM)$ has given up on backside power it seems. They are instead taking an evolutionary approach and refining their power and transistor technology.
Not to worry though. TSMC will copy backside power once Intel has shown it to be a viable technology.
Intel can't win, because TSMC will copy everything like they have done for years before Intel messed up and failed to get in on EUV even though they helped develop it.
