i have successfully negotiated flexible working arrangements with my employer, which enables me to balance my work and family responsibilities. As a result, I have experienced a significant increase in my work productivity, allowing me to deliver high-quality results while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. While I currently don't require a four-day workweek, I may consider exploring this option in the future to further optimize my productivity and overall well-being.

Starting from December 1, 2024, Singapore will implement a comprehensive set of guidelines for flexible work arrangements, which includes the option for employees to work four days a week.
The standard working hours in the UK are 5 days * 8 hours, but according to the International Labour Organization, the actual average weekly working hours in the UK are only 36 hours. If compressed into 4 days, it would be 9-10 hours a day.
