It is nice to have 4-day work week for more balanced work-life balance. Mostly will spent more time and money in family life. However, it becomes stressful if emails and work start to pile up.
Do You Look Forward to a 4-Day Workweek?
Starting from December 1, 2024, Singapore will implement a comprehensive set of guidelines for flexible work arrangements, which includes the option for employees to work four days a week.
The standard working hours in the UK are 5 days * 8 hours, but according to the International Labour Organization, the actual average weekly working hours in the UK are only 36 hours. If compressed into 4 days, it would be 9-10 hours a day.
