$Advanced Micro Devices(AMD)$ If you like where it is on its chart and think as an individual company it will continue to succeed then by all means amd is a good play. To say it’s a better play than nvidia is silly, if you are investing based on the semi craze related to ai and are scared of nvidia $NVIDIA Corp(NVDA)$ there are other options and amd isn’t the way to go.

They aren’t even competing in the same market at this point, amd will get there as a cheaper option long term but as it stands right now nvidia is an ai company that dabbles in consumer gpus and amd sells budget gpus to gamers and also dabbles in ai chips. Amd is probably a good play but if you want to invest in semis and ai pick an ai company!
