I mean, Tesla also forecast delivery in 2020. And they forecast a starting price of $40k. And they forecast range of 500 miles. And they forecast 4680s years ago.

At any rate, the notion that the 4680s are going to save significant money is a little...optimistic. Battery prices are under $140/kwh. The CT battery is 120k. So the entire battery assembly is around $16k. Let's say the 4680 brings battery costs down by half (LOL). So Tesla saves $8k on a $120k Cyberbeast?

The notion that somehow ramping to higher volumes & 4680s are going to save enough to take the CT from a money losing $120k boondoggle to a profitable endeavor is....a lot of hopium and wish casting, to be generous and kind to the bulls.
