$Straits Times Index(STI.SI)$

Components consist to make this 2 index have different perspective and goals with different profiles of investors.

When type of investors prefer low volatility on capital appreciation but earn stable dividend then seems STI.SI would more justifiably option.

There are opposite objectives from above, which investors more look for capital appreciation with high volatility then S&P 500 index would be more suitable with this thinking.

Probably balancing between these 2 index when do investment could be considered, following investor age when get older the choice more weight in stable index like STI.SI better [Smile] .
