I continue to believe the autonomous market is segmenting into supervised and unsupervised segments. The unsupervised segment led by $GOOG and $BIDU is likely to be company-owned robotaxis that operate at minimum 99.99% efficacy (1 critical intervention per 10,000 miles; GOOG data currently shows 1 intervention per 17,000 miles). TSLA FSD 12.5x is currently at 1 intervention per 360 miles (96.6% efficacy) per the crowd-sourced FSD tracker. As @MatchasmMatt (who I have found is a realistic TSLA bull) points out, TSLA FSD still needs supervision.
