Long-Term Gains and Swing Trading Fun

$Intel(INTC)$ I sold some off at 40ish, bought back in at 30ish, primarily for the remaining dividend and hoping it would bounce back up. Since it didn't bounce very high I've been swing trading it to make up the difference and along with the last dividend and am almost in the black on the short term portfolio. My long term portfolio that I don't trade much at all I'm way in the black. I don't need the cash, I may hold those until I'm dead. INTC, AMD $Advanced Micro Devices(AMD)$ , ABT $Abbott Laboratories(ABT)$ and ABBV $AbbVie(ABBV)$ have been the solid core of my long term portfolio and then in recent years I've continued to follow and trade them in the short-term tax-free portfolio where trading has been very profitable. I added VST $Vistra Energy Corp.(VST)$ , PFE $Pfizer(PFE)$ and GWH $ESS Tech Inc.(GWH)$ when the prices were ok and have taken a bit of a beating on GWH and PFE but the profits from VST and the dividends from INTC, etc have paid for those shares. swing trading has been an interesting thing to try, i don't recommend it for those who can't stomach losses or when the market moves against you but it's been a heck of a lot more fun than watching tv. :)
